10 Foodie Finds Worth Sharing
Hey Everyone! How was your holiday weekend? Did you go anywhere exciting?
Winter is sitting heavy here in New England and Donald and I try to get out between the snow squals. We spent the past couple days exploring the North Shore: Rockport, Portsmouth, and the New Hampshire shore have fun little shops and long sandy beaches that we had never visited!
We can’t wait until the summer, when all the ice cream shops open back up. 🙂
Meanwhile, it’s snowing again and we’re doing some cooking to keep the house cozy. Here are a few good foodie finds that I wanted to share:
This is a big list of healthy and tasty ideas for quick dinners.
CNN ranked the 23 best street-food cities around the world.
After our Hawaii honeymoon, I’ve been craving some island fare. Maybe I should buy this cookbook.
Spork & Barrel is a well-done food blog with a refreshing angle. 😉
This company is making home-cooking easy for anyone. Check out some of these good ideas from Tasty.
This show has got me completely hooked. Anyone else watch Mind of a Chef?
Make your own non-toxic kitchen counter cleaner.
Many “olive oils” are diluted with lesser oils like canola, but according to our Italian-chef friend, this brand of EVOO is pure, and from Italy.
If your tap water tastes funny, this filter will take care of it and is much cheaper (and way more sustainable) than buying bottled water.
If you find yourself in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Earth Eagle Brewing is a must-visit. Every beer is excellent and they offer comfort food in a fun and cozy back-alley-chalet-themed atmosphere.
